ENS International Selection Scholarships Brief Description

Every year, École Normale Supérieure (ENS) organizes an international selection to allow the most promising international students, either in Science or Arts & Humanities, to pursue a Master’s Degree at the University.

International students are the target group for ENS international selection scholarships.
ENS Scholarship value/duration
A monthly grant of 1,000 Euros for three years, as well as a room on one of the ENS campuses.
Eligibility Criteria for ENS International Selection Scholarships

ENS international selection scholarships applicants must meet the following requirements:
- When applying, candidates must be under the age of 26. (must not have reached their 26th birthday)
- Candidates must not have previously applied to the International Selection.
- Candidates must not have spent more than 10 months in France during the selection year (September 1st – August 31st) or the previous year.
- Applicants must demonstrate that they completed at least one year of undergraduate studies at a foreign university (outside of France) during the calendar year preceding the start of applications.
- Candidates must have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies at a foreign university (outside of France) by September 1st, following admission.
However, as an exception, the Director of ENS could authorize the application of a candidate whose academic background outside France is not standard.
