What is Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program (JRF)?
Jackie Robinson Foundation is an annual scholarship program that financially assists its Scholars in attending JRF’s annual four-day “Mentoring and Leadership Conference” in New York City, as well as other events throughout the year. JRF Scholars receive college scholarships totaling $35,000 (thirty-five thousand dollars) over a four-year period.
Scholars have access to a full four-year curriculum that includes career counseling, internship, permanent job placement, international travel, leadership development, and training in real-world skills, in addition to substantial financial support.

Eligibility For Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
To be eligible for a Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship, an applicant must possess the following:
- Applicant must be a graduating, minority high school senior
- Must be a United States citizen
- S/he must present evidence of financial need
- Applicant must demonstrate a record of academic excellence
- He/she must demonstrate leadership potential and a dedication to community service
- Submit an official SAT and/or ACT test exam score from junior or senior year*
- Applicant must plan to attend an accredited and approved 4-year college within the United States or affiliated with a United States-based college or university
- Must not possess a degree from, or be enrolled in, a 2 4–year college when applying.
