The PSC Scholarships provide three main career paths in the Singapore Public Service.

1. Public Administration

This career path is for you if:  You are open to taking on new roles in the public sector and exploring the full range of public governance work, from policy formulation to implementation. Depending on the needs of the Service and your suitability, you will be assigned to a ministry or statutory board.

2. Professional Service – PSC Scholarship Program Singapore

This career path/track is for you if: You have a strong desire to pursue a specialized career path. In the public sector, you can work as an Engineer, Public Finance Officer, Foreign Service Officer, Legal Service Officer, Medical Officer, or Teaching Service Officer. At the start of your scholarship, you will be assigned a tied agency and professionally developed to fulfill your future role.

Course of Study

Eligibility Criteria for PSC Scholarship Program Singapore

Applicants for undergraduate scholarships may apply prior to pursuing their undergraduate degree or up until the penultimate year of their undergraduate degree (referred to as ‘mid-term applicants’).

To be  eligible, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of Singapore
  • Demonstrate Strong Leadership Qualities and Potential
  • Present themselves as well-rounded individuals with strong academic and non-academic credentials.

Academic Requirements:

PSC Undergraduate Scholarships PSC Undergraduate Scholarships (Mid-Term)
§  GCE A-levels; or

§  International Baccalaureate; or

§  NUS High School Diploma; or

§  Polytechnic Diploma with merit; or

§  Other high school diploma or equivalent.

Applicants may apply prior to receiving their final examination results. A provisional scholarship offer may be made if you are found suitable, subject to confirmation upon release of final results.

§  NUS High School Diploma; or

§  Polytechnic Diploma with merit; or

§  Other high school diploma or equivalent; and

§  At least one semester of university results.

The application should be made before the final year of your undergraduate studies.

For professional schemes with a tied agency, an applicant must be undertaking an undergraduate degree in an area that is relevant to the tied agency.
