1. Open Study/Research Awards

2. English Teaching Assistant Awards

Fulbright U.S. Student Program Special Programs

1. Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowships In Public Health
The Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowships are made possible by a collaboration between the Fulbright Program and the Fogarty International Center of the United States. The National Institutes of Health (NIH). These awards were created to encourage the expansion of public health and clinical research in resource-constrained settings.
The NIH’s Fogarty International Center will support the research training site and may provide orientation for the fellows. In addition, the NIH will provide selected Fellows with a pre-departure orientation in Washington, DC.
To be eligible for the Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowships in Public Health, applicants must be US citizens and meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in graduate or medical school. Applicants with a doctorate are ineligible.
- Possess sufficient proficiency in the host language to complete the project.
The basic requirements and application process for the Fulbright-Fogarty Program are the same as for any other Fulbright U.S. Student Study/Research Grant.

2. Fulbright-National Geographic Storytelling Fellowship
The Fulbright-National Geographic Storytelling Fellowship offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for American Fulbright students to develop global narratives and discuss cross-border commonalities around a common issue or theme. During their grants, grantees will be trained, supported, and mentored by National Geographic Editors.
They will use new media platforms to help build ties across cultures while improving mutual understanding. The content they create will be featured online in a variety of places, including a blog hosted by National Geographic.
