To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Applicants must be currently enrolled and accepted at the university of Bayreuth in Germany.
• Unfortunately, first-semester students cannot be funded;
• applications must be submitted in the second semester for funding to begin in the third semester.
• Above all academic achievements from the previous semester, e.g., in the case of summer semester applications, grades from the previous summer semester; in the case of winter semester applications, grades from the previous winter semester (at least 20 credit points in total), a letter of recommendation from a university lecturer, and social engagement are decisive for the application’s evaluation.
